A Porsche 918 Just Crashed Into The Crowd Of A Motor Show In Malta

Three people, including a six-year-old girl have been critically injured after a Porsche 918 Spyder crashed into them during the Paqpaqli motor show in Malta.

The crash - which injured 21 spectators - happened today at around 2pm local time, and was the result of a high-speed spin after one of the hypercar’s rear wheels hit the grass.

The car then smashed through barriers and into crowds who were watching from a static exhibition next to the runway. Two helicopters and multiple ambulances were quickly on the scene to take victims to hospital. The driver of the 918 is among the three people in critical condition (edit: the driver’s injuries are beleived not to be critical).

Update 1:

The total number on the critically injured list is now five, and the number of people injured is 26. The car in question is now known to be that of triple hypercar owner Paul Bailey’s.
