Your car’s dashboard lives a difficult life. It spends years having feet placed on it, sticky fingers fiddling with its knobs and buttons, and the glasshouse magnifying the sun’s rays onto it. It’s no surprise, then, that many classic cars have faded dashboards that belie its owner’s years of care.

Fortunately for owners of 911s built between 1969 and 1975, Porsche is offering a completely new dash that looks exactly as it did the day it left the factory all those years ago, however now it is made with new, high quality materials. This will help the interior stand up better to problems such as highly fluctuating temperatures, preserving the car’s long-term value.

The interiors have been built by Porsche Classic, the manufacturer’s division responsible for cars built more than 10 years ago. The new part is available from any authorised Porsche dealership in the United States, and will cost $1353.
