Pretend You're A Racing Driver With This Epic First-Person Video

For the next few minutes, your name is Tommy Milner, and you're a racing driver.

Every man honestly believes that he could be a racing driver (you do, just admit it), but very few of us ever get to fully exercise our talent (or lack thereof) on a circuit, let alone in a competitive situation. The only alternative is to live vicariously through first-person videos like this.

At last weekend's 12hrs of Sebring, successful GT racer Tommy Milner strapped a camera to his helmet before climbing behind the wheel of his Corvette Racing C6.R. The result? An accurate representation of what Milner himself sees and hears out on track.

The team eventually won the GT class after staging an impressive comeback necessitated by a few electrical issues and two time penalties.

On a side note, check out that screen in the middle of the dashboard. That's a radar-assisted rear-view camera. As well as notifying the driver if there's a car behind, an arrow pops up to signal whether it's about to pass on the left or right-hand side. Cool.

No guns or women in bikinis this time around, I'm afraid...
