The Production Jaguar I-Pace Will Look Just Like The Concept
When the stupidly striking Jaguar I-Pace concept made itself known to the world, we rather hoped that the production version would look similar. After all, Jaguar has previous in this area: the F-Pace is the spit of the C-X17 concept that previewed it, if you remember.
Thankfully, it seems this is indeed the case with the I-Pace. The disguised prototypes that have been doing the rounds certainly look to retain the same basic shape, and this spy footage shot in Monaco - purportedly showing a production I-Pace - as good as confirms that the concept’s sharp styling has been carried over with few changes.
The I-Pace was seen being filmed for a promotional video around the Loews Hairpin section of the Monaco Grand Prix circuit, all handily closed off in preparation for this weekend’s F1 race.
The specifications of the production version are still unknown at this stage, but the concept packs 395bhp and 516lb ft of torque from a twin-motor setup. The all-electric powertrain is good for a range of 220 miles, and its batteries can be charged from empty to 80 per cent in 90 minutes.
Expect it to be in showrooms at some point in 2018.

80% in 90 minutes, pretty tempting for me. Maybe I would buy this one, because the styling pretty great too.
I saw one of these the other day!? Are they not on sale yet?
