This incredible picture was taken after the driver of a Fiat Grand Siena (Fiat's Brazilian four-door saloon) had completed his 1hr 30min, 60-mile journey from Brazilian town Itapetinga to Vitoria da Conquista. As you can see, a puppy inadvertently came along for the ride too.

The driver of the car - Julia Cesar Siqueira - admitted that he accidentally hit the puppy early on with his car while on his way to university with his mother and two student friends. According to him, 'dangerous' road conditions meant he was unable to stop. He said he was also sure that the puppy was still alive due to the car's speed at the time.

On arrival at the university, on-lookers flagged the car down and discovered that the dazed puppy was alive. The dog - now named Vitoria - was found to have only a broken leg from what should have been far worse.
