The Putin-Inspired G63 AMG 6x6 'Red Russian' By Dartz Is The Craziest Military Vehicle In The World

Dartz has made a name for itself by creating some ludicrous armoured vehicles in recent years, and now it’s back with the ‘Red Russian.’ To most normal people, the Mercedes G63 AMG 6x6 hardly needs a masculine makeover, but the guys at this Latvian company have worked their magic to make a luxury military vehicle Putin himself would be proud of.

The premise for the RR is military outside, opulent inside. The exterior gets butch bumpers, juxtaposed by bright, handpainted patterns that would look rather out of place in a war zone. Inside, Dartz uses high-grade leather from the same Italian factory that supplies Ferrari and Bentley.

We’re fairly confident that Mr. Putin doesn’t endorse the 6x6, but his likeness is at the centre of the Red Russian’s bizarre advertising campaign. It also appears that Dartz is targeting Russians based on what the company has learnt watching dashcam videos, as the RR apparently comes with matching baseball bats.
