Readers' Rides: Koven's Clean Dodge Challenger SXT

This Dodge Challenger is driven the way God intended!

The Canadians are impressing us with their motors! Last week we featured Alex's Chevrolet C1500, while this week we're taking some American muscle north of the border.

Koven is a proper petrolhead. His Dodge isn't modified beyond recognition, but he loves it and drives it hard, the way an enthusiast should. Let's hand over to the man himself to tell us more...

Hi, I'm Koven and this is my 2011 Dodge Challenger SXT - my daily driver in New Brunswick, Canada. It sees rain, snow, mud... everything! I put it through hell, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I purchased it to drive it and not treat it like a queen. I recently drifted right into a snow bank, which was fun! But hey, life is too short to worry about scratches and dings, so I get sideways whenever I can without totally ruining my tyres.

It's all stock performance-wise, though cosmetically modified to suit my personality and match my dream car - a 2010 Snake Skin Green ACR Viper. Enthusiasts might notice the classic touch from the '70s with the Sublime Green colour choice. I've also done a few mods to the interior like fitting LEDs and a shifter mod which makes the interior much better to look at.

During the summer I race with my local motorsports club doing solo sport events like AutoX. This past season I beat multiple SRT vehicles, along with a bunch of cars that should be faster.

I also like to travel all over the Maritimes, connecting with members from our club and attending car shows and cruises. It wouldn't be uncommon for me to spend eight hours or more just driving and hanging out with friends. The Challenger goes through a lot and fits my needs perfectly... for the most part.

I plan on upgrading to an SRT8 6-Speed Challenger hopefully this coming summer, as the need for speed is just too great!

If you want your car featured on Readers' Rides, email darren.cassey@carthrottle.com with a pic and a few words explaining why you love it so much. If we like it, we'll feature it!
