A Reckless Lexus Driver Who Crashed And Crushed A Man Is Everything That’s Wrong With Car Meets
Anyone who has attended a car meet at the Ace Cafe in London knows that a serious accident was just waiting to happen, and it appears that last night was the night the inevitable occured. Reports are fairly sketchy, but it appears a young man was showing off in his Lexus IS 200, drifting the mini roundabout beside the cafe, when he lost control.
One witness on Passion Ford claimed the Lexus driver kicked the back out but “overcompensated”, crashing into a parked Toyota Auris. The hatchback was pushed forward, hitting two men who were working on a Ford Sierra Sapphire RS Cosworth. According to reports, one man was pinned between the two cars, with bystanders freeing him before paramedics arrived. His injuries are unclear at this point.
It was only a matter of time before something like this happened, and unfortunately for the Ace Cafe and everyone who enjoys attending meets there, this could be the final nail in the cafe’s coffin. It has been hit by police warnings before, with cops threatening to close the business if it didn’t take steps to reign in anti-social behaviour in the vicinity of its property - this is possible thanks to new powers granted to police in 2014.
The roads surrounding the cafe are often lined with people after meets, and drivers take this as an opportunity to show off. Understandably, police don’t take too kindly to such behaviour on the public road, especially with so many people around. As resistant as some petrolheads have been to cops’ attempts to interfere with their ‘fun’, it’s exactly the sort of incident witnessed last night that they’ve been trying to avoid.
Unfortunately, as usual, it’s the minority ruining it for the majority. If the Ace Cafe is shut down, we only have the idiots in our community to blame.
Comments
The blackpanthaa comments are before me.. was about to do the same lol
And we never heard from BlackPanthaa ever again.
So here we have our targets: 1.) Put a legendary place out of business for good 2.) Injure a fellow petrolhead 3.) Damage a valuable classic car 4.) Ruin the reputation of the petrolhead community. The cheapest way to achieve them is to put a lowlife idiot in a 600 quid shitbox to show off his nonexistent skills. Dear IS200 driving friend of ours, thank you!
You clearly do honor your name, captain trashtalk. Get your sht together, this page is about respect for all car enthusiasts. One idiot in a certain type of car doesn’t make all owners of these cars idiots. Calling it a 600 quid shitbox is even more cringeworthy, especially coming from someone into alfas and old shitbox fiats :’) Seriously mate, at least I can get home after a good road trip, get your sht together
Theo! You bloody Knob! Told you not to frikin floor it! You pleb!
Blackpanthaa?
Everyone beating me to it saying it’s blackpanthaa makes me upset.
Why Theo, why did you break Lexxi?
Everybody makes fun in the comments, but what if it was actually BlackPanthaa?
“It has been hit by police warnings before, with cops threatening to close the business if it didn’t take steps to reign in anti-social behaviour in the vicinity of its property”
Isn’t police supposed to do that, though?
Is it really blackpanthaa
