Rejoice: The Dodge Hellcat V8 Is Now Available As A Crate Engine

Ladies and gentlemen, let us present the Holy Grail of crate engines. That’s right, Dodge’s 6.2-litre supercharged ‘Hellcat’ HEMI V8 can now be bought in crate form, making its 697bhp (707hp) brawn available for the maddest of project car builds.
It’s called the Hellcrate (obviously), and it’s yours for $19,530. You’re probably going to want the Engine Kit (below) on top of that, which will set you back $2195. It includes a powertrain control module, engine wiring harness, an accelerator pedal, various sensors and a fuel pump control module.

The Hellcrate - which has a muscular 650lb ft torque figure to go along with its 697bhp - has a three year, unlimited-mileage warranty from Mopar to complete a worry-free, shouty V8 package. In terms of transmissions, Dodge recommends the engine is hooked up to a six-speed Tremec Magnum manual gearbox.
So the question is, what would you stick a Hellcrate engine in? Comment below with your ideas…

I’d put it in mid-mounted in an Odyssey, with power to the rear wheels. Completely practical vehicle, am I right?
i don’t think it will fit in a MG Midget.
Someone, put this in a Prius and make it RWD~
Studio Furukawa made a hellcat crate engine available in PCR earlier than in real life…

Black cab! I’d mount it in the passenger section to make it mid engine
I’d put this crate engine in a N13 nissan sunny with a beefy ford rear axle and a chevy transmission.
BRING THE HATE!
I shall swap this into a Ram and christen it as the ‘Ramcat’!
