The Rush Movie Premiere Was Too Cool For Words
Monday saw the world premiere of Rush - this year's most hotly anticipated film - kick off in spectacular style at London's Leicester Square with an appearance from not one but two iconic F1 cars.
With McLaren celebrating its 50th anniversary this week, there was a strong presence at the premiere from Britain's most successful Formula 1 team. Current drivers Jenson Button and Sergio Perez arrived on the red carpet in style, Button driving James Hunt's 1976 M23 that took him to the driver's championship and Perez arriving in Lewis Hamilton's title-winning 2008 MP4-23.
Perez and Button both drove the iconic F1 machines in suits, as you do, before mixing with Hollywood stars, F1 icons and... errr...David Hasselhoff on the red carpet.
Niki Lauda was in attendance at the premier with Sir Jackie Stewart, Bernie Ecclestone, Ron Dennis and Gerhard Berger also walking the red carpet.
Take a look at this video to see the rather spectacular start to the movie premiere.
