Explaining the reason for his enthusiasm, the uploader had this to say in the video description:
“My fastest clean run of the day, good for 3rd on PAX. Set a similar dirty raw time in the morning sessions and couldn’t replicate it all day (about 7 or 8 runs) until I got it done on this run, the last of the day, thus causing this over-the-top celebration.”
Growing up on a diet of World Rally Championship highlights and lengthy Gran Turismo 2 sessions, a life in cars was as good as inevitable for Matt.

No, your audio is fine. He did bash the rev limiter, if he changed to a higher gear then he would have lost speed and would also need to downshift before even applying thottle. So he did the right thing!
