Say Hello To The Fast 8 'Ice Cars' Dom & Co Are Driving In Iceland
Remember the first Fast and Furious film, which made do with a single location in southern California? Things aren’t quite so simple for the franchise anymore, with the latest instalment being a proper globe-trotting effort shooting in Cuba, Iceland, and, erm, Cleveland.
The Icelandic-shot stuff should be spectacular - the filming plans were previously said to include the largest man-made explosion ever seen in the country - and now we can have a closer look at the whips Dominic Toretto and his mates have been using while out there.
As you’ll see, they got a tank, a rally fighter-style vehicle, a tracked pickup truck and a relatively normal-looking Lamborghini Murcielago. Perhaps it has studded tyres or something.
Check out the video at the bottom of the page to see these beasts in action.

How to make a fast and furious movie
And Dom drinking a corona beer. Now the list is complete
Also always have Dom drive a Charger and try to make people forget he was driving an RX-7 in the first movie
Give Hobbs a one liner.
I slightly disagree with “the car explodes” killing a car is a sin
dont forget the modified gearboxes
Fast and furious where multimillion dollar cars get destroyed because movie.
Name at least one thing that can scratch the surface of a million bucks in that franchise
Most of the “super expensive cars” they trash are not really all that super expensive.
Most are just shells (one of the Skylines in the second movie had a VW Beetle-engine in the rear, and was a pipe-frame car).
I don’t see any multimillion dollar car here.
And if they do use supercars and hypercars that they want to destroy… they don’t use real ones… I thought it was obvious.
FFS, I had to GOOGLE THIS. Just to make sure I’m not mistaken. No, not mistaken. What we’re looking at is a street race, it seems.
Yeah street race on ice, nice…
By street race, they actually meant the scenes at Cuba where theyll drag race in hot rods like the 40’s.
Not really illegal JDM street racing but it’s better than nothing. I hope it’s a full coverage and not like Fast 5 when they skipped the race part and cut to winning the cars instead….
I have to say that the rally fichter just looks amazing.
What’s Roman doing in Iceland with a f*ckin Lambo!?
just Roman being Roman…
Global warming right there
Fast and furious producers: no late 60s, early 70s dodge charger were harmed in the making of this film
Where’s Sir Killalot?
Nice Local Motors Rally Fighter.
