Say Hello To The New 592bhp Aston Martin Vanquish S
Ever since the new, 600bhp DB11 arrived at Aston Martin, the 568bhp offered by the old N/A V12 in the flagship Vanquish has looked a little inadequate. But don’t worry - while the Vanquish may be in its twilight years, the ladies and gents and Gaydon haven’t forgotten about the old girl, and have given it a jolly good fettle to create the Vanquish S.
With 592bhp from the 5.9-litre V12 thanks to a freer breathing intake system it’s - err - actually a still less powerful than the turbocharged DB11. But don’t panic, it accelerates much quicker: 0-62mph takes 3.5 seconds - a tenth down from the old car making it four tenths quicker than its fresher faced little brother.
The carbonfibre-bodied Vanquish has always been one of Aston’s more hardcore propositions, and it’s set to be better to drive than ever thanks to revised dampers, spring rates and anti-roll bar bushes.
The eight-speed, transaxle mounted ZF automatic gearbox has had a software tweak for faster shifts meanwhile, and the exterior has been finished off with a new carbonfibre aero kit.
Want one? It’s up for £199,950, with first deliveries will take place in December.

THAT COLOUR. ITS SO BEAUTIFUL
So…dark. So….evil. Forget James Bond, this is a car for Dr. No.
I want one really badly..
What was ever wrong with the current vanquish?
Can the people who post this stop because it’s starting to get a bit old
Manual option?
The Vanquish never came with a manual option but as Matt Farah said with his Vanquish he just asked Aston Martin for a manual and they gave him one. Pretty cool tbh.
Time for a new desktop pictute I guess
