After a fairly disappointing return to sports cars with the carbon-tubbed Alfa 4C, the Italian manufacturer has come back with a 503bhp super saloon ready to put the German powerhouses to the sword.

Watch as our favourite Top Gear presenter performs his usual sideways action around Alfa’s own test track to see how the Giulia Quadrifoglio shapes up against the BMW M3 and the C63 AMG.

I love this car, once the next gen comes out and they work out all the tweaks then I’d consider getting one. But right now I’m sticking with BMW :)

So it offers improvements in areas that the M3 is lacking in :)
Personally I prefer higher revs as well, so it`s all about what a customer wants.
The main concern here, I suppose, is whether the powertrain and electronics can outlast at least the warranty, with what we all know about Alfa Romeo already :)
