Seeing This £2.8M Tata Nano Will Hurt Your Brain
The world's cheapest car gets a makeover, with expensive results...
Take the world's cheapest car, cover it in 80kg of 22 carat gold, 15kg of silver and a bucket load of gemstones and what do you get? You get one of the world's most expensive cars...
Meet the Tata Nano GoldPlus, a car that was unveiled in Mumbai this week. The Nano GP was created to celebrate India's craftsmanship, its 5000-year-old jewellery trade and Tata's very own GoldPlus jewellery brand (that's right, jewellery from the makers of the world's cheapest car!)
It took thirty craftsmen hundreds of man-hours to coat the Nano in the expensive materials, which are estimated to cost around 220 million Rupees (£2.8 million). We'd rather take a Lambo Sesto Elemento, thanks.
