Sexy Alfa Romeo 4C Revealed - Which Body Part Will You Give Up For It?
Hold on to your trousers, because the Alfa Romeo 4C is ready for production and it looks more or less exactly like the concept.
Although this stunningly carved block of aluminium and carbonfibre is the same length as a Fiesta, it’s got a turbocharged four-pot engine behind the front seats that's good for a power-to-weight ratio above 250bhp per tonne – more than you get from the bonkers-fast Vauxhall VX220.
It’s two metres wide so don’t expect it to fit in your garage, but at 118cm tall it’s as low as a mole’s gonads. With a full carbon chassis it’ll be supercar-stiff, and since Maserati has had some input it should have character oozing from every panel.
Two bucket seats are all you get, so good luck convincing the other half that it’s a perfectly serviceable family car. What you’ll definitely get is a huge wedge of fun – and a price tag that would make Bill Gates wince.
Look out for more deets on the 4C when CT goes to the Geneva Motor Show next month.
