Shelby Mustang Clamped For $16k Of Parking Fines

It’s been a tough week for Ford owners. Already we have had a Focus RS drift mode-ing into the side of a mountain, and a Mustang parking on top of a Corolla…

Now this Shelby Mustang has been busted for $15,956 in unpaid fines, and then clamped after Portland launched its booting program on Wednesday to try and recover some of its $7.5 million in unpaid ticket fines.

Let me repeat that.

Over fifteen grand in unpaid fines.

Just goes to show, that small percentage of Mustang owners don’t have to be moving to make the stupid people news…

Lol hey superstig and a couple of other guys and I were thinking about having a CT meet. Your in LA right cause were thinking mabey because its a good mid point Griffith park or somewhere else in Burbank or Glendale.

I’m about an hour an a bit inland from LA, but I’ll still be up for it. Assuming my damn car is fixed in time. When are you thinking?

i live in LA too, in santa monica. But i dont have a car. :(

Griffith park is filled with tourists and their rental cars unless you go there like after mid-night.

Thing about parking tickets, it can pretty easily go from a 50$ ticket, to a 1500$ ticket if left unpaid.

Exactly. One of my drivers got a $25 parking ticket that had he contested would have easily gotten thrown out. Waited a month to let me know and by the time I went and paid it, it was over $80 not even 5 weeks after the date the ticket was issued.

Could’ve used the amount and bought another used Mustang.

Not all of us can help where our Ford breaks down…

Oh please, dont even go there gm is no better. We had a 84 gmc Jimmy that we special ordered. You literally couldn’t go 10 feet without something breaking or falling off it. All cars beak down.
