Last time we featured a radial engine you guys loved it, so when this incredible homemade engine popped up on Jalopnik we just had to share it.

The bloke behind the project, Arnold de Man (an appropriate name, as he clearly is the man), used parts from an aircooled flat-four VW engine to create this seven-cylinder radial. Its displacement is 2068cc and it weighs 80kgs, though de Man isn’t sure exactly how much power it’s creating.

Radial engines were traditionally used in old aircraft engines before turbine engines became predominant.
