Someone Did A Completely Blind Lap Of Silverstone In An Alfa Giulia QV
Alfa Romeo has set a 'blindfolded' lap record at the Silverstone National Circuit, using a Giulia Quadrifoglio with completely blacked out windows
When we were at Silverstone to have a go in the new Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio a couple of weeks ago, a very different kind of fast lap was about to be set.
An additional Giulia was rolled out, this one with its windows completely blacked out with vinyl. It was sent on track with the white Giulia we’d been playing around with earlier, which would be in constant communication with the red car to make sure the driver was going in the right direction.
In the end, the team were able to clock a 1:44.3sec lap, beating the conventional lap record set by Nino Farina in an Alfa Romeo 159 Grand Prix car 65 years ago by a tenth of a second.

We know who the driver is

Omg why are people downvoting you?
If he crashes, he is going to have hard time explaining it to the insurance company…
Insurance company: ‘How did you crash?’
Driver: ‘I was uh…Driving a Giulia with Blacked-Out Windows—-‘
Company: ‘WHY?!’
Driver: ‘Uh…Long story….’
I call hacks
Some say their was a driver inside the car who was looking through a camera…
So…..
What’s the point of that?
probably would have been easier in a Tesla
Guess you didn’t see that coming
I definitely didn’t foresee that coming
he is allowed to say “i know the track like my hand”
looks at the back of hand
Da f!ck is that?!
