Someone's Already Selling A Super-Rare 30 Jahre M5 BMW For A Massive Profit

Last month, BMW unveiled the 30 Jahre, a special edition M5 built to celebrate the super-saloon’s 30th birthday. Only 300 will ever be made, with limited numbers making their way to each country. Over in the USA, 30 were made available, and one has already appeared on eBay for a massive premium over the original price.

The car would’ve cost the current seller nearly $140k, however it is listed with a ‘Buy It Now’ price of $200k. Cashing in on a BMW fanboy’s need to own this exclusive car won’t make you popular, but it’ll apparently make you rich. If you don’t mind paying 50 per cent extra for a 30 Jahre, what will you get?

A hell of a lot of power, that’s what. The 30 Jahre gets a 40bhp boost over the standard M5, which is already borderline too fast. So that’s 592bhp and a little torque bump to 516lb ft courtesy of the optional Competition Package fitted as standard on this model, as well as an engine management tweak and upped turbo boost pressure.
