Olivier (CT's grammar commie)

I’d like to relate, but God knows I have neither place, time and money for a project car; I’m already on the teeth with only one car -_-

I’ve been there. In fact, I sold my last project car because I needed to buy groceries. It took almost 30 years to get to a place where I could build a project car like this. It’s been quite a learning experience if nothing else. Thanks for the comment.

Eric, couldn’t agree more with regards to having a second set of eyes looking over the project and someone else there to help. I almost offered to come to Cincinnati and help you. I know I get motivated when I have someone else around and it’s not just me. It’s especially fun for me when I can teach someone something I know. And they want to learn. Serves two purposes; 1) it makes me think through processes that I will be doing so that I show them correctly and 2) just having someone there gives me someone to talk to other than myself 😁 I’m not the best mechanic in the world and not all that knowledgeable, but I have a desire to always learn, do what needs to be done, and very meticulous. If you ever need a helper just holler.

Thank you for the kind offer. I really appreciate it. I completely relate to what you’re saying. Sometimes having others around that have a similar interest in the project or the process can be very inspiring. Thanks again.

Your English is just fine. I completely understand about having obligations. Family first as they say. It took me years to get to this point and so far, it’s been well worth the wait. I hope the same is true for you. Thanks for your comment.

Loved the bit at the end “I saw something else” couldn’t agree more. I got a 73 pontiac leman s that I have caught so much crap for, but like you I saw more. I wanted something different then every other car at the shows. Its been very slow going but I feel the end result will be worth the effert.

it’s even harder working on a car when you don’t have money for it, and the problem increases tenfold when the car in question also needs to be driven daily

I waited and saved up for several years before I got to this point for that very reason. Thanks for the comment.
