The Stratos that could've been~
Have you ever seen one? Hah, I don’t think so, you have a one in 1.2 BILLION chance of seeing one in the wild. Yes, if your good at math you have now realized that there is only one new Stratos ever made.

Humble beginings
The creators of this car, Chris Hrabalek (Gosh, his name is harder to pronounce than a Pagani huayra inside of koenigsegg!) and Michael Stoschek, both had an extreme love for the Stratos. They had both met at a stratos convention (Yup, there’s a convention for one car) but that’s not where their friendship came from, partly because Hrabalek was nine. Later they had met in an odd turn of events and keep in touch where Hrabalek would keep sending drawings, references, and concepts of a new stratos design.
Going to production?
The car. The new Stratos was first unveiled as a concept in 2005 (I was three) at the Geneva auto show. The crowd was glorified and the creators knew that they needed to make this car to please the car hungry crowd. They took a 430 Scuderia to Pininfarina and, over the course of three years, chopped it and made it to what you see today. The car was shortened, in every possible manner but still kept it’s amazing engine.
Why is this not in production?
You’re probably thinking, “Hey FLixy, why isn’t this in production?” Simple answer. Ferrari said no. Complicated answer, it would cost too much to produce and would take to long to produce . Oh and the price, it’d be well over a million dollars so they only made one… Oh and to make you feel oh so much better, it’s most likely sitting in a garage gathering dust….

Beauty!
Well a, technically, if I’m going to be that guy, the one in 1.2 billion chance isn’t accurate for someone in belguim versus me in America. In belguim is closer to one in 11.2 million chance, where as, I would have a one in 1.2 billion chance. Not that it matters, I’m just bored waiting for my class to start.
And of course, that chance would be dramatically decreased for someone who visits car shows as there is a chance that this would be on display.
I just got all the cars in the world and put to 1
Oh shut up. Your comment is so annoying and unnecessary. This kid took the time to write a great article and you’re gonna give him crap because he didn’t take it into consideration that you live in America? Grow up, this is why everybody dislikes Americans
Lancia needs a proper reboot. Not these crappy chrysler knockoff acne scars of the automotive industry. I wish it could happen. If Fiat can bring back the 500, they should bring back other great Italians. But then, there would be competition. So they cant do that. Sad. Great post tho!
I completely agree, I would love to see them bring back the Delta and make it look something like this instead of the POS they have now.
currently lancia with chrysler seems to be same situation as buick with opel
That is absolutely gorgeus!
Personally sat in it. Actually they’ve proggrammed to do one more, don’t know how far it went.
It’ll break down after the corner
Super interesting!

It had 458 engine and Ferrari did not want it to ruin 458 sales , because of that it didn’t go to production. But there is a hope:The car will may come back with the new 2.9 V6 biturbo engine made by Ferrari for Alfa and will be tuned for the new coming Dino.
well writen, really enjoyed reading it!
I may be good in maths, but YOU’RE bad in grammar ;)
Haha! I’ve gotten better and now I’m re doing the post! You should check it out when I’m done!
