Sunday eBay Wouldya: Suzuki Cappuccino

After giving you a big dose of supercharged V8 Jag muscle in last week’s Sunday eBay Wouldya, this week we’ve gone for... a 657cc Suzuki. No we haven’t chosen a mental superbike, it’s Suzuki’s tiny Cappuccino.

After giving you a big dose of supercharged V8 Jag muscle in last week’s Sunday eBay Wouldya, this week we’ve gone for... a 657cc Suzuki. No we haven’t chosen a mental superbike, it’s Suzuki’s tiny Cappuccino.

Now, we know what you’re thinking. Why the hell have we chosen a three cylinder Suzuki that’s named after an overpriced hot beverage and has a smaller engine than many lawnmowers?

Well, the Frappuccino might look like the kind of thing Noddy would drive and has less power than even Nissan’s weedy Pixo but it’s less than half the weight of a VW Golf GTi and packs a turbo plus rear wheel drive. Oh and you can take its top off too...

And while this skeletal Suzuki is limited to a top speed of just 87mph it springs to 60mph in a mere eight seconds – more than fast enough for a car that’s barely longer than the original Mini.

Our shiny red eBay Cap’ looks like a real beaut’ too with less than 48,000 miles on the clock and only one owner. Inside our £4k Suzuki has mint black leather sports seats and a rev counter which redlines at 8,500rpm – proper Ferrari territory.

Well, we’re smitten. So, wouldya?
