F1 only do it because of the fuel flow limit. Oil is flammable as well so they burn that. I think the FIA is cracking down on this though.
If this ever makes it into production, the most lucrative business idea will be setting up repair shops near fuel stations so you can catch all the people who put petrol in the diesel, diesel in the petrol or both.
Accidentally filled over half my tank with diesel once, car didn’t even care. Smoked a little but ran fine.
What car was/is it?
What about HC, CO and CO2 emissions? What kind of HP and torque does it produce? You mentioned cooler burning. What would that mean for engine cooling systems and or the need for one? Would the mpg also be greater?
Can I run only diesel or only gasoline or I must run both?
