The Surprisingly Dark Cars 3 Trailer Is Here
Whether you were a kid when it came out or - like me - not quite a kid anymore, I’m sure most of us petrolheads dig Cars. A Disney film featuring anthropomorphised automobiles had the potential to be awful, but it summed up what we love about those tin boxes on wheels very successfully.
Cars 2 on the other hand was a stinker, leaving behind the original’s motorsport storyline for some weird crap about spies. But Cars 3? If you check out the surprisingly dark teaser trailer above, it looks like a whole different ball game. It even looks to be tackling the rise of electric vehicles.
The blurb on the video upload gives us further reason to hope this will bring the series closer to the first film:
Blindsided by a new generation of blazing-fast racers, the legendary Lightning McQueen (voice of Owen Wilson) is suddenly pushed out of the sport he loves. To get back in the game, he will need the help of an eager young race technician, Cruz Ramirez, with her own plan to win, plus inspiration from the late Fabulous Hudson Hornet and a few unexpected turns. Proving that #95 isn’t through yet will test the heart of a champion on Piston Cup Racing’s biggest stage!

I saw the teaser trailer for that this morning when I was gonna watch the Grand Tour and I saw the trailer, I wonder what Disney has in store?

Cars 3: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby
I watched the original cars movie at the cinema when I was 8 years old, and even to this day, it hits me right in the feels at some points. Call me childish, I simply don’t give a f*. Words cannot describe how excited I am right now! Just hope it isn’t as boring as the second one.
maybe this is to show us what motorsport had became and how dedicated mcqueen are and does anything to do back racing [even going hybrid if needed]
I bet anything the plot is about Lightning McQueen becoming obsolete to the new hybrid race cars, and he will probably become a hybrid himself
