This Tesla Model S Shooting Brake Is Here To Move Your Furniture
This is the world’s first shooting brake built out of a Tesla Model S – and, amazingly, it’s actually lighter than standard.
Built by QWest, a coachbuilder specialising in carbonfibre, this obviously aftermarket but still very cool conversion saves 12kg over the standard layout, despite being bigger. As you’ve guessed, the whole assembly is made from carbonfibre except the window and wiper.
It’s based on a Model S 90D and carries the same 2.8-second 0-60mph sprint capability. It’s claimed to have an extra 210 litres of load space, though, which is handy. Need some furniture moving very quietly? Bingo.
There’s an obvious join between the factory roof and the start of the QWest rear end, and we’re not sure about the ‘floating’ roof design, but this is still a very cool project to have pulled out of the bag.
You can see it at the London Motor Show, which takes place from 17-20 May 2018. QWest will be bringing it to the show at the ExCeL Exhibition Centre, a change of venue designed to house more people after 25,000 people visited the show at Battersea Evolution last year.
The London Motor Show in its current form was set up in 2016, and mostly covers existing models that have already been seen elsewhere. The Model S Shooting Brake is, therefore, a bit of a coup.

I need a race between this and the Audi rs6 RIGHT NOW
I’m sorry but out of all the wagons out there, this would be the first one I would say I would NOT prefer over the standard sedan. It looks like they took the top half of a 7th gen Accord, pasted it on top and made the D pillar black
So, should we not to make love now quiet, like the car?
Sorry, but it’s terrible! Look how the back window fits and how flat the roof is. It’s very badly made.
Marvel as the comments of this post light up with people claming that this Tesla looks a little bit like another estste car
I’m a sucker for wagons, so she’s an A++ in my book!!
JDM Shark 🇧🇷
why does it look like a ford from the rear??
This thing was on Fifth Gear, apparently the guy wanted it just so he could haul his dog around😂
Shooting brake? You mean wagon?
