These Are GTA V's New Cars And Features That You'll Love

Starting this Tuesday, PS4 and Xbox One players will be able to purchase the remastered version of Grand Theft Auto V for their next-generation consoles, and returning players will be rewarded with new bonus content. If you’re planning on buying the new version, you still have time to earn $1,000,000 bonus in-game cash when you preorder. Half of the bonus cash will go to your Story Mode account, and the other half will go to you GTA Online account.

The original GTA V was released just over a year ago and was so well received that it destroyed all previous sales records. The good folks at Rockstar Games didn’t want to miss out on any potential revenue from their players migrating to next-gen consoles, so they quickly made a new version that will make you fall in love with the GTA games all over again. The better graphics and social competition aspects of the new consoles are what Rockstar Games hopes will fuel the future of the GTA games.

The new game features go beyond the ‘facelift’ that most people expected when the plans to adapt to PS4 and Xbox One were announced. We were already pumped up about the first person driving experience (it just feels so right), but now with more customisation options and enhanced graphics, we feel like this game is going to redefine the whole GTA series.

Here are some of the next-gen exclusive cars you’ll see soon:

  • Dinka Blista Compact
  • Dinka Go Go Monkey Blista
  • Bravado Sprunk Buffalo
  • Imponte Duke O’Death (returning players)
  • Cheval Marshall Monster Truck (returning players)

Rockstar games will be resurrecting more of our favourite cars from previous GTA games and will be creating new challenges in which players can discover more new rides.

The cars will now have the option of customising with neon underglow lights. The collision damage has been greatly upgraded from the previous version. Changing weather and varied driving surfaces will also have a greater effect on vehicle control. With the increased capabilities of the next-gen consoles, the details in the background and surroundings are incredible. Fine lines, lights and shadows are all coming into the picture clearly from a greater distance than in the last release. There is no doubt that this game will be the most visually-pleasing and interactive GTA we have seen to date.

Rockstar Games tweeted a sneak peek at what special features are going to be presented to returning customers who are upgrading from GTA V on their Xbox 360 or PS3. Check out their post below for details. Although the blimp seems pretty sweet, the Duke O’Death has us drooling.

Grand Theft Auto Online will also be undergoing some upgrades. Now, up to 30 players on next-gen consoles can play, and there will be increased support from the Rockstar Games’ staff during the initial launch phase. They welcome your feedback and will be ready to help and use your information to make necessary changes to the game in future updates. GTA Online boasts over 33.8 million global players, so it is important they keep their players happily entertained and socially connected.

If you plan on playing on Tuesday, get started downloading the game now so it fully updates and launches as soon as it’s released. Then make sure to share your funny, weird or disturbing screenshots with us on Discuss.
