These Australians Converted A School Bus Into An RV For The Ultimate US Road Trip
Six friends spent a year saving for the trip of a lifetime
When these Australian friends decided they wanted to travel in the US, their initial plan was to buy an RV and cruise from state to state. Unfortunately, RVs aren’t cheap, so they bought a school bus and set about converting it to their very own mobile home.
After flying into Banff, Canada, they spent three months converting the bus, which had to be ready for a trip to the Coachella music festival. Check out some of the build photos below.
Loading up the bus with all the materials needed for the conversion.
Panels were removed to allow insulation to be fitted.
Plywood was secured to the roof of the bus.
