These Hero Cops Rushed A Choking Baby To Hospital And Saved Its Life

Cops spend a lot of their day enforcing the law and generally annoying a lot of people, but ask any officer why they signed up and they’ll likely say it was because they wanted to help people.

These Lithuanian policemen got the chance to do exactly that recently, when they saved the life of an eight-month-old child that was choking and had passed out. The officers were parked at the side of the road when they were approached by two panicking members of the public. The passenger climbs out of the car holding his baby’s lifeless body, and the cops spring into action.

After bundling father and child into the car, the cops sped to the nearest hospital, where Ninemsn reports that the blockage in the child’s trachea was dislodged.
