Things Turn 10 should Change and Keep For Forza Horizon 3

As being a huge fan of Forza Horizon 2, I wanted to share some thoughts on what they should change and keep for the next Horizon. Forza Horizon 2 was a great game but it wasn’t perfect and come on, every game can’t be perfect.

Keep: Graphics and Details

The graphics and details of Forza Horizon 2 were amazing, every inch of the game amazed me with how beautifully it was made and you could see all the hard work they put in the game. The map was quite small compared to something like The Crew but the variety was great and I wouldn’t really mind if it is that small with all the variety of Forza Horizon 2 but there is one thing I would like to be added which I will mention in a second.

Keep: Car List

The car list for Forza Horizon 2 was amazing, there were so many unique cars that you were always amazed what you would find in the shop next time you went on a spree. I totally loved it, I would love the variety to be kept like that, I wouldn’t necessarily say all the cars should be the same but the variety should be unique and unexpected like that.

Change: Offroading

Forza Horizon 2 had quite a good and open map and we all loved it but there were places where you could possibly have gone and done proper offroading but they cut off those places with barriers and some people even managed to glitch and go to those places and to be honest, it was amazing how much more they could have added to the experience. I would really love to see proper offroading area where the dominant vehicle would be a pickup/SUV.

Change: Story

We all have to admit, there was barely anything to the story of Forza Horizon 2, you were expected to create your own sort of story and it got boring really fast. After winning my first Horizon Finale, I barely touched single player and when I did it was because Xbox Live wasn’t working. I would really love a story to be part of this game.

Change: Custom Races

Yeah, we were able to play with friends online and we had a choice of doing races but the only customization we could do was change the time of the day and which category of cars should be able to race. The Crew also recently gave us this mode and GTA has an amazing version of it, you should be able to create custom races and custom races are just more fun. Normal races get really stale really fast, I play a lot of online races and I get bored. It would be a breath of fresh air.

Change: Free DLC's

Okay, this is a long shot but considering how much the franchise has made from these games it would be great to get free DLC’s like Need For Speed did. We all spend $60 on the game and not all of us are able to buy the DLC’s afterwards and they always contain that one car that you so desire to own but you just can’t. It would be great if they could just give us free DLC’s.

Change: Customization

The customizations for Forza games have been very stale for a long time and it would be great to see proper parts and bodykits for the game and the rims have barely changed since Forza 4, it would be a breath of fresh air to bring in some more companies and get more rim choices like Vossens etc. Having Forza Aero and a circle sticking out of your car isn’t anything fun. We should get bodykits that would allow us to make our cars unique compared to others. I really loved Forza Horizon 2 but there was a lot missing and I would really love a few of these changes made to the game, specially the customizations.

Change: more bosses from real life, like need for speed 2015. And more cars, like more series of cars and more barn finds, drag and drift events and auction house

I want a Xbox but want to keep my ps4 for gran turismo

You might want to save up, I wouldn’t let go of a PS4 while GT Autosport is so close. So saving up would be better, I wish I had the PS4 though, we are sort of in the same boat :P

Change: a bigger map

I actually disagree about the off road part. I wish they would have less off road stuff and focus more on the tarmac roads. There were hardly any good technical roads in horizon 2 that were actually tarmac. All the best sections were covered in gravel :( then the only dlc expansion they released was more f*#!ing off road stuf

Oh and bring back lobbies for online games. Me and all of my friends hated the random online road trips where you have no idea what class or what races you’re getting thrown into

They should keep graphics, but make them better if possible

I didn’t like H2 as much as H1 simply because in H1 you could pick which online lobby you wanted to be in. If you wanted a drag lobby then you looked for a drag lobby or started one up yourself. If you wanted a drift lobby it was the same way. I put a lot of time into H1 and got rid of H2 a little while ago because I was disappointed in the multiplayer and the story. The cars and graphics are great.
