Today's community question: What's the douchiest car option available from the factory?
In the last few years car manufacturers have come up with all sorts of ridiculous options, hoping to make their cars stand out from the crowd. This trend spans every class of car, from bottom of the rung econoboxes up to luxury barges.
In the last few years car manufacturers have come up with all sorts of ridiculous options, hoping to make their cars stand out from the crowd. This trend spans every class of car, from bottom of the rung econoboxes up to luxury barges. Personally, my least favourite option available on a production car is something that I’ll probably never be able to afford, the Rolls Royce’s Starlight Headliner. Yes it’s handcrafted, and yes each constellation is completely unique, but that doesn’t stop it from looking horribly tacky.
Granted this is an extreme example, but we want to know: What car manufacturer offers the douchiest option from the factory?

Any puddle lights that show a logo
But only if they show a logo. Puddle lights generally are useful, but definitely fit for this list if it has the logo
I think that these are rather neat, if done properly.
The Bentayga 160 000$ clock, no question
How is that douchy? As a timepiece and watch enthusiast, I think that’s absolutely awesome
Bro, if you’re a car guy and had the money you probably will spend more than a million on a car, why not 160,000 on a watch if you have the money(sorry for the english if it’s bad, im from Argentina)
here’s the thing: yes, it looks amazing. But for 160K, I could buy my dream car (Diablo VT) I understand that watches are pieces of art… but Bentley went nuts with this one
The Bentley dash clock thing in the bentayga, it cost so much
The Pagani Huayra’s interior looks dope. It has both a stick & paddle sequential shifters….
What? Both a stick and a paddle? Like a real manual gearbox with clutch and paddles? Wow what a time to be alive!
in 2005 the option you get from toyota on a yaris for leather seats which is a fake leather seat cover for 150$.

Automatic transmission
Guys, stop the auto only hate. The PDK, for one, is an excellent transmission.
A few years backs rolls Royce had something where lights would shine like stars on your head liner at certain occasions

And guess what, there are no S660 anywhere except asia :( so be happy for what you have.
