Top Gear Episode 3: Live Discussion
Time for episode 3! Ep 2 seemed like a big improvement, but this should easily be the best yet. We’re looking at Chris Harris in a Ferrari F12 TDF, Rory Reid in a Ford Focus RS, and Star in the Rallycross Car….well, hopefully it’ll be a bit shorter this time!

Sorry guys but I’ve got to say I do find Ken Block and his gymkhana stuff rather boring, I just get the impression that once you’ve seen one you’ve seen them all.
You’re not the only one.its all individual slides put together in editing. If it was a one take onboard view then i would be impressed
Ratings out of ten, people?
I reckon 7/10. R8 film decent, Harris and Reid films excellent, Matt’s part entertaining but a tad long.
Loses a couple points for another stupidly long and awkward interview bit.
Agree best show so far this season. Evans slightly less shouty Harris and Reid were both fantastic Matts was funny but pointless.
I’d give it a 8/10.
Main segments excluding Audi R8 and Star in a rallycross car were 8.5/10. everything else 5/10
Really liked the tdf, focus RS and the Ken block part. Everything else was kinda sh!te.
The Ford Focus RS one was really good. Evans as shouty and uninteresting as usual
Gymkhana is great but with Matt that was just boring I give this episode 5/10.
Kevin hart made the star in the rally cross car a lot better this week.
RIP Chris Harris
6/10
Harris’ film was awesome, Rory’s film was cool. The R8 puking films was good aswell. The part with Kenny from the block was long and kinda boring, actually much like his Gymkhana films. The star in the rallycross car was great this week, but Evans should learn to let his guests talk and not interupt them constantly. It was also a bit too long.
Well it was definitely better. The less Chris Evans actually speaks the better the show gets frankly. In a way it has a hint of the old old top gear about it, many contributors doing bits about cars from their own particular field of interest/expertise, with just a splash of the old top gear’s random stuff thrown in. Matt Le Blancs presentation skills still make Pinocchio look like a real boy but he is improving and he is a million leagues better than Mr Evans. The stars in a rally cross car section seems to last for far too long and towards the end it just is painful watching Mr Evans scream and shout and frankly look like a pre come down cocaine addict whom also likes Meth. Sabine was as expected very interesting, and I liked the feature she did, I just wish that Mr Evans would quietly slope off our screens back to the cozy bubble of radio 2, then slowly slip away from there as well back in obscurity.
This week was awesome, not quite clarkson and co. but it wont be long if they keep on improving like this
