He seems to have missed the point, we no longer really care Clarkson is gone from Top Gear since we are getting GT, Evan’s just a bad presenter full stop. Get rid of him and the viewers will be happy, he is the reason it is not a success. Why can’t the BBC see this?!
How come whenever Chris Evans is on screen it just doesn’t seem to be about cars. Sure he drove the jag but we didn’t really find out much about it.
When clarkson, Hammond and may did the long races they described what the cars were like, how they drove, what they were like to live with etc etc. I got excited seeing the XJ because iv toyed with the idea of buying one, what did I find out…Evans’ had leather seats…..
Rory and Harris’ segments were brilliant as ever.
I honestly think it would be decent if they just deleted Chris Evans. I just don’t like his style at all

The more I see Eddie Jordan on here the more I think he’s this version of Bono that happens to know about cars
Clarkson’s Top Gear had 3 motoring journalists presenting it, and through forming an actual and proven friendship, created an entertaining show about cars.
Chris Evan’s has 1 DJ, 1 Actor, 1 Ex-F1 team owner, 1 Racing driver and 2 motoring journalists presenting it, and it has zero chemistry and is still cringeworthy at times. The best part of the whole show is when the motoring journalists present. I wonder why??
Just starting to watch Top Gear like I would watch the old one and not spend every second criticising!
