i couldn’t watch the new top gear… i went straight to the extra gear!
The challenges and for some parts the audience reactions seemed very staged and fake
Almost everything Chris Evans did was uncomfortable to watch, the way he was shouting everything he said and all the jumping around i.e. slamming his hands on the viper in the studio. The crowd interaction was unneeded and felt forced like teacher telling school children to clap and so on. Matt Leblanc comedic timing shinned through every now and then but the script clearly needs some works with a lot of the jokes falling flat. The best thing about the “new TopGear” was the new reasonably priced car track and it was something I wished old TopGear would have done as that particular segment was getting tired. Extra Gear on the other hand was alright and I think if they just got rid of Chris Evans (Kvyat style) and replaced him with Chris Harris and Rory the show would be pretty good.
after about an hour i finally managed to pirate the episode, after watching it i’m glad the BBC didnt make any money from me watching it.
Any links, I refuse to watch bbc anymore but would like to see these flops flop.
was i the only one only watching Chris Harris’ feet when he was driving the Nomad on the track??

If anything, I’d say that Chris needs to tone it down a bit. I know he’s a radio host, so he’s used to having to rely on his voice more than TV antics like the previous three. I think he can improve, but he was a bit ‘in yer face’ in this episode. I still liked it quite a bit tho
