Why do the audience never stop applauding :| ! It physically hurts
During the filming, it was said that Chris Evans snapped at the crowd, now it might sound weird but after watching the first episode I think the crowd was staged.
It really got to me when Evans kept aggressively screaming ‘COME ON EVERYBODY’

I just saw Top Gear and… i actually enjoy LeBlanc’s segment. He’s great and funny but he’s the only one. The thing is that it’s just not the same show anymore… i will continue watching Top Gear because of LeBlanc, but honestly i can’t wait for Grand Tour to come out.
How will the stig cope!
Massively impressed by LeBlanc - carried the show with self-aware but effortless cool and an air of authenticity. Evans was the polar opposite; trying so hard he was literally shouting for half of the episode. Audience interaction was cringeworthy. The poor people in the studio were visibly uncomfortable with Evans’ attempts to get a rise out of them. Hell, you could even read the, “please stop” on Matt’s face during some of those segments. If they either get rid of Chris or manage to hit him with a tranquilizer dart before segments, it might all come together.
The dirt section in the track seems like overcompensation. A lot of celebrities are just going to struggle with it but more importantly it’s going to make the asphalt dirty and reduce traction for the stig’s laps unless they constantly clean it.
