Top Gear's Female Presenter 'Will Be Zoe Ball'

Zoe Ball ‘will be the new face of new Top Gear’, according to reports today in the Mirror.

According to a Mirror source, Ball’s chemistry and performance in screen tests with Chris Evans revealed that she "looks like a certainty".

The source continued:

"She was brilliant down on the race track and she’s enthusiastic about cars (…) Things immediately clicked into place and there was a lightbulb moment among producers (…) The chemistry between Zoe and Chris is perfect."

The news comes just weeks after Jodie Kidd announced that she would not be the female host of Top Gear because the role would "take over your soul".

The third and final presenter is currently unknown, but rumours suggest that good guy Guy Martin or Philip Glenister could be in the running.
