Try Not To Cry As An Inattentive Driver Pushes A Ferrari 488 Into A Destructive Spin

Dashcam footage shows the moment a driver in South Korea pulled out on a Ferrari 488, pitching it into another car and a tunnel wall

Checking your mirrors before pulling off an overtake on a dual carriageway isn’t exactly a hard thing to do, but it’s absolutely vital. Because if you don’t, something like this might happen.

The video above - taken on the Seoul Chuncheon Expressway, South Korea - shows the moment an inattentive driver pulled out on a Ferrari 488, hitting it in just the right place to send it into a spin. The supercar’s momentum saw it smash into the vehicle in front of the camera car, before hitting a tunnel wall and then getting struck by the camera car itself. Ouch.

Fortunately, it looks like all the involved occupants are up and walking after the accident, seemingly without serious injury. How we’d like to be a fly on the wall during that conversation…

This is just another example of people not having the mandatory level of common sense to drive a car

That guy should get charged with automobile homicide.

This also shows how useful dashcams are. With this evidence, the Ferrari driver should be able to force the other driver’s insurer to pay for everything, saving the Ferrari driver a fortune in any excess payment and in insurance cost next year.

Seriously, if you are able to afford a car like that (unlike me), you should be careful. Some people would do anything to get their hands on a Ferrari and yet we have people who just crash them. Sigh

Its clearly the camera car’s fault, but one could argue that the slow car in the fast (left) lane was partially to blame too, seeing as there were no cars in front or in the slow lane. But I don’t know how it works in S. Korea
