Try Not To Weep At The Sight Of This Keyed Lamborghini Huracan Avio

This limited-edition Huracan was spotted with expensive-looking damage from a vicious keying attack

Why? 😭

A post shared by Ward Lemmens (@lemmenscarphoto) on

Any kind of car vandalism is upsetting to see, but there’s something particularly rage-inducing about the concept of ‘keying’. This simple, vicious act is something that takes great effort and expense to rectify for any car, let alone a vehicle like this.

Spotted looking quite sorry for itself in the Belgian town Brugge, the vehicle in question is a Lamborghini Huracan Avio. Only 250 of these Italian Air Force-inspired LP610-4s were made, with four special matte finishes available (along with one metallic finish).

Some say it's art, some say it's scratched with a key

Yep, a limited edition matte paint finish. Specifically, this Huracan wears ‘Verde Turbine’. We dread to think how much it’s going to cost to repair.

There’s no background information to go along with this story, just a bunch of images that’ll make you feel sad.

Lie down on the floor, try not to cry…

The language I want to use is not really fit for a public forum. The anger burns hot.

I hope the person that did this was bragging to his friends and the police found him because of it and he ends up getting sued so he has to declare bankruptcy.

Surely there must be a reason for such horrible attack on the car? Not trying to excuse whoever did this, but just doubting that anyone would do it for no reason. Some supercar owners love to rev the nuts off their engines at 2am next to homes and then get surprised when people call the police or get pissed. Could something like that be the reason?
Once again, not protecting the ** who did this

Its strange that it isnt just one scratch on the side. Its not just someone walking by and casually scratching the side without being noticed. This might be something personal considering the effort that went into it

Depends on background but here in France people are such communists I wouldn’t dare leave my 320d outside at night so I can’t imagine how they’d react to a Lambo.

Bet you it’s all those * cyclists, thinking that Lamborghini owner is the root cause of global warming, so in doing their “bit” to satisfy their selves, they keyed the car so they can act all high and mighty.

Erm, do you have a problem with cyclists? You’re talking about them like they murdered your family or sth…

In many countries, the average population hates the upper classes due to sheer jealosy, which is the reason behind all the keying. (Don’t know the situation in Belgium though).

Where I live, it is not uncommon to see a 15 year old BMW 320d being keyed, simply because it is a car from a relatively premium brand.

How people should react to rich people and their property: “I need to work as hard as them”

How people really react to rich people and their property: “I hate them, I need to ruin their property, ask government to tax the sh!t out of them and give the money to lazy people like myself”

Sadness

I once read a report on the changes of the American Dream in terms of people’s opinions. It does say that a culture of luck and get rich quick has enveloped the country, and that many people feel that the AD is a promise of wealth, which is very much mistaken.

Whether the person worked hard to be rich or inherited it from their parents doesn’t give you the right to key scratch their car.

Oh my god. Not to take away from the inhumane act of damage that was done to this beauty, but the Huracan looks so damn BEAUTIFUL in the first picture, despite the keying

Shouldn’t someone who drives a car like that have an insurance to cover vandalism?
