Two Ferrari 488 GTBs Have Been Wrecked In The Same Smash - Apparently Because Of A Dog
It doesn’t really get more wasteful than this. Two Ferrari 488 GTBs have somehow managed to smash into each other in a Chinese city.
The extra taxes the Chinese government slaps onto imports means that each of these 488s cost more than £470,000, but it’s a shame the owners didn’t each shell out for some extra driving tuition.
The ‘jaywalking dog’ that allegedly caused the accident must have survived because there’s no evidence of it according to Car News China. We’d imagine ‘dog’ was code for ‘we may have been going a bit too quickly and got it wrong, officer.’
Covered number plates has sparked speculation that the cars belonged to Communist Party officials. If they do, we really don’t want to imagine the punishments for causing embarrassment to the Party leader. The owners will be lucky if all they lose is their driving licences…

This is why cats are better
Maybe the explanation was lost in translation. Could it be that they were dog meat sellers who were attempting to catch a particularly lucrative mongrel in a pincer type movement?
Except there’s a dog clearly visible under the tarp in the center of the last picture… But that’s none of my business
Daaaaaaaaaam son
They were just catching dinner. Oh Wait… Wrong Country? I’ll leave.
It’s okay, there’s one less silver Ferrari on the roads now!
Frankly, I think every Ferrari 488 GTB deserves to be smashed up like this.
