Update: Sitting On Another Man's Unique McLaren P1 Shows A Complete Lack Of Respect

What you see here is a guy sitting on top of a unique McLaren P1. The car was parked in a garage during a Gumball 3000 stop-over and was taken advantage of while left unguarded. The image caption - ‘Voy sobrado!!!!’ - loosely translates to ‘I’ll beat everyone’.

The image was reposted on Gumball entrant Team Galag’s Facebook page with the following message:

Today, this picture appeared on the internet of what we can only call an A**hole posing on the car in Barcelona. Taking a picture with the car is ok, but doing what he did, is not. This will only make us take more precautions to “hide” the car and ruins any opportunity for you guys to see it.

According to some of the Facebook comments, the guy in question is one of the managers at the club where the incident took place. If this turns out to be true, it’s fair to assume that the anger he’s caused may have made this his last day with the company.

The guy in question has released this statement on his own Facebook wall apologising for the picture:

I want to apologize to the owner of the vehicle, Team Galag - Gumball 3000 (Team 73), Gumball 3000 and all people who love cars.
Was not misconduct. And much less to do something bad in the car because I really love cars and motor world again a lot of apologize.

While his statement smacks of damage limitation, he has at least apologised to the car’s owners, which is a good start.
