Watch The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro As It Makes Loud V8 Noises At The Nurburgring
The upcoming new Camaro - which features some dramatic mechanical changes over the old model - has been spotted undergoing testing at the 'Ring
While the exterior looks very familiar, there are some big changes in store for the next Camaro. Most notable is the switch in platform. The current fifth-gen version is underpinned by the General Motors ‘Zeta’ platform which also forms the basis for many rear-drive Aussie Holdens, but the 2016 model will use the more modern ‘Alpha’ platform, which it’ll share with the Cadillac ATS.
Most of the current Camaro’s engines are expected to be carried over, but don’t be surprised if a turbocharged four-pot joins the ranks, allowing Chevy to take the fight to the Ford Mustang Ecoboost.
