Watch A Bugatti Veyron Struggle To Keep Up With The Mighty Rimac Concept One
We’ve seen the Rimac Conept One take on the might of the hypercar world and come out firmly on top. Smashing both the Porsche 918 Spyder and the LaFerrari in straight-line drag races, the boss of Rimac has now been given the keys to a Veyron to compare the 987bhp hypercar king to his 1088bhp electric creation. Reaching 60mph in 2.6 seconds, the Rimac should technically be neck-and-neck with the Veyron, but it seems turbo lag becomes the Bugatti’s achilles heal when compared to the instant electrical torque delivery of the Concept One.
Although we’re gutted they didn’t square-up over a quarter-mile drag race, the Bugatti has its work cut out keeping up with the Rimac on public roads in this intriguing comparison. Would you take the pinnacle of internal combustion over the potentially faster but silent Concept One? Comment with your thoughts below!

Well, I know who to beg- I mean ask politely for motors in about a year
Considering what they are and how they’re doing it and what they intend to feel like, this is the first sensible comparison featuring the concept one.
2 heavy hyper-GT’s that are amazingly good at cornering but still made for going fast in a line while being comfortable luxurious.
I would really like to see a full blown, measured comparison of these two.
And no “OMG it just beat a laferrari in the 1/4 mile!”. I mean really, was that in any way surprising? And are these cars in any way made to do the same thing? I don’t think so. Let’s compare the comparable.
Great, a 2016 eletric car is faster than a 2005 combustion engine car when it comes to acceleration. Get a big straight road or a track, charge and refuel when you need, and see how faster the bugat
Then again,Bugatti Veyron is outdated
That guy was like:damn I’m too good
