Watch A Chevy Cheyenne Truck Pull A 187-Tonne Log Train Like A Boss
This vintage commercial from yesteryear brilliantly demonstrates the strength of the Chevy Cheyenne by getting the truck to pull a 187-tonne log train. Don't pretend like you're not impressed!

Why has no one referenced the Toyota Tundra pulling a space shuttle yet?

Because those trailers require no power to move them
Looks like a slight downward slope it was on, despite being said its level ground. Every angle suggested there was some tilt unless every camera was mounted with a tilt. Also, once something is rolling, anything can pull it. If you have enough power to get it moving just a little, it’ll snowball into speed.
Easier said than done. Especially for something built that long ago.
And then final destination happens
Haha

May or may not be false advertising…
Not at all false.
Just not recommended for maintaining long term reliability of truck.
187 Tons* yes there’s a difference,
Oops, bent the frame in a commercial! Look at the pinstripe on the truck that isn’t hooked up to the trailer in the beginning; nice and straight. Look at the pinstripe on the truck that is hooked up when the driver is getting in; not straight anymore.
I do love those old Chevy trucks, I even have an ‘88 Cheyenne for a farm truck, why kill it to drive 100 feet for a commercial? Sadness.
That’s a 350? So my trailering special 400 should be able to pull twice the logs amirite? 😆
