It should come as no surprise that Dodge’s 840bhp drag racer for the road has some unusual quirks. Granted, a lot of them - like the liquid-to-air charge cooler and the factory-fitted trans brake - we already know about thanks to the Demon’s extensive teasing campaign, but it’s cool to see some of the car’s weirder bits up close.

Take the false headlamp air intakes. The Challenger Hellcat gets one, but the Demon gets two, each with Demon logos on the inner circumference. How good do they look close up?

The whole procedure for running on higher octane fuel is fascinating, and there’s an interesting note about the data logger that records your quarter-mile personal best.
