Watch A Drag Racer Fall Off At 200mph And Get Stuck To His Competitor's Bike
In the weirdest drag crash we've ever seen, rider Filippos Papafilippou crashed into Steve Woollatt, and landed on the wheelie bar of his competitor's bike
This incredible incident happened at the recent 2014 FIA/FIM European Drag Racing Championship Finals at Santa Pod, UK, during a Top Fuel Drag Bike race. Rider Filippos Papafilippou veered across the strip and tangled with competitor Steve Woollatt at nearly 200mph, dismounting in the process. Falling off at that speed could have been disastrous and potentially fatal, but amazingly, Filippos landed on the wheelie bar of Woollatt’s bike, getting his leg stuck in the process.
Woollatt - we assume unwittingly at first - carried Filippos to the finish line, and both were able to walk away from what could have been a horrific crash.
