Watch The Driver Of This 300mph Dragster Fireball Walk It Off Like A Boss

Antron Brown's company car is an 8,000 horsepower Top Fuel Dragster that dispatches 300mph with ease on its way to the finish line. On Sunday Brown was dominating his second round of eliminations when, shortly before the finish, his engine let go in spectacular style.

First there's a massive explosion which takes out both rear wheels, showering the surroundings with burning rubber. The dragster then careens left with a couple of fancy pirouettes, hits the barrier and skids backwards while upside down before clipping the barrier on the other side and coming to rest in the gravel trap at the end of the runway.

Safety crews were quickly on the scene with fire extinguishers and helped an unharmed Brown from the mangled mess. It turns out Brown is actually one of just four drivers using a new safety canopy. It's been a little controversial thanks to the high cost and increased weight, but clearly it's worth its weight in gold to Antron.
