Watch The Hennessey Stingray Break 200mph On A Texan Toll Road

We've already seen the amateur flyby footage, but here's the official video of Hennessey's highly modified Stingray, which took to the newly-paved Texas State Highway toll road at an incredible 200.6mph.

The standard Corvette Stingray will hit a top speed of 180mph, so to break through the 200mph barrier, power was upped to 700bhp. Hennessey's HPE600 package creates 600bhp thanks to long-tube headers, ported factory cylinder heads, high-flow cats, a custom camshaft and Hennessey Performance tune. The final hike in power comes from a nitrous oxide shot that gives the car a 100bhp hit.

It sounds good, but as good as this turbocharged Stingray? We're not so sure...
