Can someone explain the turning into a slide part? From what I can see (take the first crash) he does so to regain control but then doesn’t straighten the wheels after losing it further, is that essentially what he was doing wrong?

He is doing it too slow and too late for it to work. That’s just a guess though but thats what it looks like. Many times he didn’t do nothing to regain control though. And if I had to guess something else as well, everytime he started spinning he took his foot of the throttle and/or started braking. Which would make the situation even worse

I think your being pritty judgmental. This is clearly over meny difference track days.
And he is turning into the slides. But that sort off thing can be very difficult to correct

He’s so lucky that track has so much runoff - He would have written off that s2k with most of those mistakes at track in the UK.
