Watch As A Honda S2000 Lays Down An Incredible 6.7sec Quarter-Mile
This S2000 broke its own record at the World Sport Compact Challenge, cementing its position as the world's fastest
The world’s fastest S2000 just got a little bit faster. The most impressive thing about this beast? That’d be the engine - it’s not some giant, heavily-boosted V8. Nope, it’s still running Honda’s F22 inline-four.
It’s fed by a gigantic turbocharger, allowing the F22 to develop over 1500bhp at the crank. VTEC has most definitely just kicked in, yo.
Having previously set a 6.9 second quarter-mile, the S2000 recently improved on this at the Orlando Speed World Dragway, clocking a 6.7 second quarter and crossing the line at 203mph.
We are in awe…

And still morons call all hondas rice
Uneducated dumbasses…
[DELETED]
Because rice can be fast
for gaskings every car with a wing is rice.
A F22? Thats a prelude motor. HELL YA
Not really. The F22C1 was based of the F20C which was heavily reengineered just for the S2000. The F22B is something totally different
Too soon Junior…
VTEC REALLY kicked in for that one.
Not really an s2000 anymore.
How ?
S2000 chassis, S2000 body -> it’s an S2000
THE POWERS OF DREAMS
1500hp?!? Given that it doesn’t sound like the redline has been changed much (sounds like about 9500 to me), this thing must be running at least 5-6 bars (that’s like 80psi) of boost. Absolutely ridiculous. I like it.
I’m more interested in the small box the S2K was racing.
When VTec kicks in a little to much..
