Watch A Honda S2000 Wipe Out A Red Light-Running Minivan
The driver of this S2000 was lucky to escape relatively unharmed after shunting a red light runner. The driver blamed him for running a red light, but the dashcam doesn't lie
Here we see another demonstration of the importance of dashcams. The driver of this S2000 was driving through an intersection, before hitting a car that blew through a red light. Reddit user grandehead explained that the other driver told the cop he was the one running the red light, but fortunately the dashcam proves otherwise.
The dashcammer received a sore wrist and a burn to his hand, caused by holding the horn as the airbags went off. As for the car, it was a 2000 Honda S2000 with only 85,000 miles on the clock. The front end damage repairs have been quoted at $8000, so his insurance company might write it off.
